Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren returns

Global automotive industry is expected to record sales in 2011

The 300 has a Garmin navigation system onboard and its Uconnect Touch infotainment center features 8.4-inch touchscreen, while the SIRIUS Travel Link promises to keep the driver up-to-date with real-time weather reports and fuel prices.

New active safety features include adaptive-forward lighting, Forward Collision Warning and Blind-spot Monitoring.

The 2011 Chrysler 300 sedan will arrive on showroom floors in Spring and are said to start at $27,995 for the standard 300 model. The 2011 Chrysler 300 Series will be available in the U.S in four models: Chrysler 300, 300 Limited, 300C and 300C AWD.

Electric cars are becoming more popular

“The development of a parallel system is part of our strategy to expand our product family HybriDrive to meet the growing need worldwide for more efficient transportation and energy management,” said Steve Trichka, vice president of energy and power management for BAE Systems. “Power is HybriDrive green energy, and our new parallel system addresses the need for more efficient, cleaner transport medium-duty and heavy goods and people throughout the world,” he said.

BAE Systems, says the HybriDrive parallel system is in the final stage of development with the trial scheduled for the first way around Q2 2011, ahead of an expected deployment of the system in 2012.
